Launching a startup in Milab IDC
Place: MiLab/IDC HERZELIA.
Who: A bunch of communication students.
What: A new app is on its way to be created, something to do with 4 walls, people and interaction. The brief led us on to have a long think about – problems, needs and pains that different people at different ages have.
So what next: After all the amazing members had a long weekend to observe different situations that take place in between 4 walls we met for a super interesting brainstorming meeting.
Conclusions: first of all we came to the conclusion that in between 4 walls a house can be a different kind of home such as: Organic Family- parents and children, young couples living together, roommates who are friends and even roommates who didn't know each other before. After realizing that we understood the needs would be different from home to home, this led us to thinking of different places apart from homes that people interact in them.
After A long discussion, plenty of ideas, loads of laughter and bazar moments...we managed to choose five ideas!!!!
1. Now days children and adults find it sometimes difficult to create a conversation and instead of interacting with each other prefer to spend time on their iPhone .
2. Waiting in a line while cuing for something- bank, doctor, super market, car park can be frustrating boring and sometimes lead to verbal and physical violence we all tend to make time go by, by using our phones.
3. At work when it comes to lunch many times we lose time on thinking what we want to eat with who sometimes we might even eat something we don’t want just so that we won't stay alone . it could be so much easier if we knew who was eating what and where with out having to ask all the people at the office plus it would let us get to know new people that we share the same taste in food.
4. Gym time!!! Would it be nice if we knew who was going to work out and where and once we got to the gym compete with each other by sharing results?
5. school can be a difficult period for children especially shy children who find it hard to make friends if we could make the connection between them virtual they could make it easier face to face!
Now it's time to decide...
